Rubbish collectors to strike from next MondayThe rubbish collectors in Tías, San Bartolomé, Teguise and Tinajo are threatening to strike from next week, starting on Monday, that is – if there is no agreement between the union U.G.T. and the employers. The union says, however, that there will be a skeleton rubbish collection. Having seen how quickly the rubbish bins fill up – often requiring daily collections – this may not be enough! Leave a Reply
